Time Management Tips
Some tips for “Time Management”
1. Have fun and do what you love.
2. Learn to say “no”.
3. Identify your core values and principles
4. Focus on doing the right things, not doing things right.
5. Do the 20% that yields the 80% results.
6. Use a todo list (I use www.tadalist.com) and prioritize the items
7. Failing to plan is planning to fail. Plan to rest to that you can do more.
8. Do more the ‘Covey’ non-urgent and important tasks. After a while, you’ll no longer firefight.
9. Group your phone calls and make them together
10. Use thank you notes, good relationships help you
11. Use paper recycling bin, guilt and conscience affects you
12. Make time, not find time. Make time by not doing something else
13. Don’t let your desktop or your desk say “I own you”
14. Have trays… whatever for only you know
15. Delegate what others can do better
16. Delegate not just the job but the authority and responsibility
17. Fulfill all your promise. Watch out for what you promise
18. Sell your TV and your game console
19. Sleep, eat and exercise well
20. Sleep early, wake up early to prepare
21. Practice good enough
22. Insist of having agendas in meetings
23. Use a speaker phone, multiple monitors or whatever tech gadgets to help
24. Time management is not a technique, these tips won’t help you because it’s an attitude. Work on attitude.
25. Ask what you wished you would have done if you are in your death bed and just do those things
