Life & Leadership

You can have better leadership & life. The 3 essentials we build for better leadership & life are 1) Aim 2) Gratitude and 3) Mental Habits. This is based on God’s will for us in 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18

    AIM:

Why are we here on earth? Well, simply put, it is for our divine purpose.

If we have been endowed with all the abilities, time and resources in the world (by the way we have), what will we do for God and ourself here? Fill up the following….

Given that I can and will be able to, I will . . . . . . (list as many as you can)

Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus – 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18

The bible asked us to pray continually. If our life is of little or no purpose, there’s little need to pray. God made us for a purpose bigger than ourselves and we are to find out what it is, work on it and trust God by continually praying towards it.

It’s a life worth living and going for. AIM is our first essential.

    GRATITUDE:

Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus – 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18

Gratitude is an attitude and a habit. We need to acquire it through the practice of giving thanks in all circumstance. God’s Word says this is His will for us in Christ Jesus. So the practice of thankfulness is an activity we should gladly do for the rest of our life.

Start by literally writing down 10 things we are thankful to God for everyday before you sleep.

Initially we will write only the good ones. When we can do that expertly, we should start writing down those that aren’t so good. Every bad has its good and its the most amazing skill to develop how God sees those good things in bad circumstance.

Gratitude is the essential that makes life not just worth the living but feels it too.

    MENTAL HABITS

Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus – 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18

Is it even possible to rejoice always? Not possible for most people but for those who knows God and His word, its far from impossible.

A strong mental habits has to do with building biblical attitudes. Attitudes has been shown time and time again to triumph over abilities or altitudes. Having positive mental habits is the discipline of filling ourselves with thoughts and words that comes from heaven.

A great way to start is to make declaration based on God’s Word. I have a blog post “Developing a faith mindset” where I listed a set of great mental habits to build based on scripture.

When we fill our thoughts and thinking with what is positively and amazing, we set ourselves up for great life and leadership.
