I called the little homestudio I setup in the study of my Tampines flat ‘ragsstudio’. I moved there in 1998 the year i was married and ragsstudio was setup primarily as a place I play around with a computer home recording setup. It soon became not just an experiment but a place I spend a lot of time in. Writing, thinking, praying and doing stuff I personally think every soul needs to do but never on a regular enough basis. It is to be a sacred space where dreams are dreamt, visions are seen and prayers prayed.

Today it is no longer a physical studio (although I still have a mixer, microphones, monitor speakers and all) or the place it used to be but ragsstudio has become an virtual studio very much like secondlife.com is in creating a virtual life. The spirit and soul of the place is pretty much real. It’ll be as authentic as I hope it’ll be. I also hope this is a place not just for myself although it is in essence what it is, my personal space & journey, i hope this place will give the same hope it has given me to many others as well. It is my dream that what I do can be that useful. I hope this is a little thing that will make the biggest difference in your life.
